Poured in place or wetpour is a seamless, porous hard wearing safety flooring which is made from a base SBR rubber and a top recycled EPDM rubber crumb. The safety playground surfacing is perfect to areas like play equipment play areas, playgrounds, parks and pathways as it can offer protection form critical fall heights.
The rubberised playground surface is installed or constructed to different thicknesses to different specifications and designs. The thickness is vital as the surface can protect from fall heights from play equipment – up to 3.0m. Soft tarmac is made from mixing the SBR base rubber and the EPDM recycled rubber crumb with the PU polyurethane binder and installing into the desired area with a trowel to the correct depth.
