Wetpour safety surfacing is an impact absorbing, porous rubberised safety floor which has been designed to be installed in areas that need protection against fall heights. Soft tarmac or soft rubber is a 2 part recycled rubber system that sees SBR & EPDM rubber mixed or bound with polyurethane and laid with a trowel onto a prepared sub base. This system has been heavily used throughout the UK and in particularly towns in Hertfordshire such as Hertford, Watford and St Albans. Wetpour repairs can be done in any colour whether this is blue EPDM, red EPDM, yellow EPDM the choice is endless.
This type of recycled rubberized specialist safety surface is perfect for areas like parks, play areas with play equipment and play grounds as it will provide children with critical fall height protection. The wet pour is laid to different thicknesses and tolerances, depending on the specification of the equipment, and can protect to a 3.0m fall height.
