It’s important to carry out regular proactive maintenance to your sand filled sports surface, this could include drag brushing to redistribute the sand infill and prevent it becoming compacted, as well as deep cleaning to remove dirt from within the pile. Having a regular cleaning and maintenance plan in place will help to keep the synthetic grass surfacing safe for use and ensure that it’s performance qualities are as good as possible.

The sand infill will be removed and new silica sand will be installed which will remove the algal squidge and improve the drainage, playability and flooding.
