We have installed and constructed Wet Pour / Bouncy Rubber safety surfacing in these areas, which is a seamless, rubberised safety surface which is designed for areas like playgrounds, play parks, play equipment areas and pathways.
The EPDM and SBR base and top rubber surface can be specified and designed to be installed at different depths as these will protect against a critical fall height from play equipments on parks. The recycled rubber crumb safety surfacing is mixed with a PU polyurethane binder and installed into the desired area with a trowel and it can have graphics and different colours installed at the time of installation. It has other benefits like the ability to have more than 1 sub base and it can be used in conjunction with other surfaces like artificial grass.
