The rubber granules or chipping is a truck tyre recycled and shredded into bulk bags and mixed on site in a cretangle mixer with polyurethane binder which is a moisture curing glue. The recycled truck rubber crumb material is SBR and when installed is known as a rubber laser paved sports shockpad.
The rubberised shockpad is installed at a 15mm depth onto a solid sub base or 25mm depth onto a dynamic sub base. The 25mm depth rubber shockpad is known as an elayer and the 15mm shockpad is known as a europave in-situ underlay.
