Triple jump has IAAF dimensions of a 45m run up or runway, 13.0m secondary jump dimensions and a landing pit size of 9.0m x 2.75m. The runway is made from a Tartan surface, otherwise known as a Polymeric surfacing. This is made from an EPDM recycled rubber crumb which has been mixed with a PU binder.
The 45m runway has a width of 1.22m and the secondary jump dimension changed from 13.0m for men to 11.0m for women. We are a specialist sports surface contractor who has installed lots of these surfaces. The triple jump runway can be designed, specified and constructed to fit almost any area size / dimension meaning you should be able to get a surface that suits the area available to use / upgrade. Designs, pricing and quotations are also other services that we can provide.
Triple Jump is enjoying a comeback in UK schools and sports clubs due to the 2012 London Olympics and the investments from the National Lottery & Sport England. Please visit our website on http://sportsandsafetysurfaces.co.uk/ or fill in the contact form on this page to get in touch with our team.
